Recipy is intended to help families preserve knowledge across generations. That only works when people with different ages, devices, languages, and access needs can use it.

This statement describes the current commitment and how to request help. It does not claim certification or full conformance with a technical standard that has not yet been independently tested.

The service is operated by AB & GL Nexus Global Partners Limited, Irish company 764964.

1. Our approach

Recipy aims to provide:

keyboard-accessible controls and visible focus;
semantic headings, labels, status messages, and accessible names;
sufficient colour contrast and information that does not depend on colour alone;
text that can be enlarged and layouts that reflow;
reduced-motion support where motion is not essential;
clear errors and recovery in recording, editing, proof, payment, and delivery;
usable mobile and tablet layouts, especially from 768 to 1024 pixels;
captions, transcripts, text alternatives, or another accessible path for meaningful media where appropriate; and
legal information that is readable, linkable, and printable without an account.

Recipy uses third-party payment, authentication, print, and support services. We still want the complete journey to be usable and will raise material barriers with those providers.

2. Current limitations

Recipy is in a pre-launch restart and has not yet completed an independent accessibility audit of every route, device, assistive technology, PDF, email, and third-party step.

Our current improvement priorities are to:

test account creation, recording, editing, archive download, proof, Stripe payment, and order status with keyboard and screen reader;
test zoom, reflow, contrast, reduced motion, errors, time limits, and mobile or tablet layouts;
test generated book PDFs and downloadable archives for their intended accessibility;
record known unresolved limitations and target dates; and
keep checkout accessibility information accurate as the commerce journey is enabled.

3. Get help or report a barrier

Email support@recipy.to or use the form at /legal. Please tell us:

the page or task;
what happened and what you expected;
the browser, device, and assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing them; and
the format or adjustment that would help.

We will acknowledge the request and try to provide the information or service through a reasonable alternative while we investigate. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis.

4. Alternative formats

If a legal document, order record, or essential instruction is not usable in its current format, ask us for an accessible alternative. We will provide one within a reasonable time where practicable and required.

5. Review and updates

We will update this statement after material accessibility testing, a significant product change, or confirmation of a barrier and its resolution. The date and version at the top identify the current statement.
