Terms of use and sale
این سند هنوز به فارسی ترجمه نشده است. متن انگلیسی زیر معتبر و لازمالاجراست.
These terms explain how Recipy works, what you buy, and the responsibilities that come with creating, sharing, and printing family Recipys. The short version is simple: you keep your content, we need limited permission to make the service work, and your mandatory consumer rights always apply.
These terms are between you and AB & GL Nexus Global Partners Limited, an Irish private company limited by shares, company number 764964. Recipy is a trading name used by that company.
1. When these terms apply
These terms apply when you:
- record, upload, create, edit, store, export, or share a Recipy;
- create or use an account;
- build or approve a book;
- buy a future book, expansion, additional copy, or exact reprint; or
- use a public Recipy or book page.
Our Privacy Notice, Cookies and Browser Storage Policy, Cancellation and Refund Policy, Delivery and Fulfillment Policy, and Content and Safety Policy give more detail. If a checkout summary contains a specific price, format, Recipy limit, or delivery promise, that order-specific information forms part of your contract and takes priority over a general description here.
You must accept these terms before creating an account or buying. The account or checkout flow identifies the version that applies. After a purchase, we provide the contract confirmation by email and keep the order's terms version with the transaction record.
2. Who may use Recipy
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, submit content for AI processing, or buy through Recipy.
You may preserve family material involving a child only if you are legally entitled to do so and the use respects that child's privacy, safety, and best interests. Do not make a child's voice, image, name, location, or private story public through Recipy unless you have the necessary authority and have considered the lasting consequences.
Recipy's launch service is for consumers acting mainly outside their trade, business, craft, or profession. Contact us before using it for commercial publishing, catering, professional food advice, or resale.
3. What Recipy does
Recipy helps you turn spoken, written, photographed, or imported recipe material into editable Recipys and a personalised hardcover book. It can:
- transcribe recordings;
- use AI to structure Recipy information;
- store and organise Recipys inside a book project;
- let you edit, export, and deliberately share them;
- create a proof for your review;
- send an approved edition to a print and delivery provider; and
- provide a family archive of the material Recipy holds for you.
AI output can be wrong. Recipy does not professionally test Recipys, ingredients, allergens, quantities, temperatures, timings, nutrition, or cooking outcomes. You must review and correct every Recipy before cooking, sharing, approving, or printing it. See the Content and Safety Policy.
4. Accounts and security
You may be able to try an initial Recipy through a temporary anonymous session. An account is required to keep work, continue a book, share, or buy.
You agree to:
- give accurate account and order information;
- keep access to your email and sign-in method secure;
- use only your own account;
- tell us promptly if you believe somebody has accessed it without permission; and
- keep your contact details current while we owe you a book or delivery update.
You are responsible for actions taken through your account unless they resulted from Recipy's failure to use reasonable care and security.
5. Your content and the licence Recipy needs
You keep the rights you have in recordings, transcripts, Recipy wording, memories, photos, dedications, and other material you submit. Recipy does not take ownership of that content.
You give AB & GL Nexus Global Partners Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transcribe, structure, format, display, export, print, and transmit your content only as needed to:
- provide and secure the features you choose;
- create and fulfill your book and reprints;
- make content public when you deliberately enable public sharing;
- provide support and investigate faults or abuse;
- preserve backups for limited recovery periods; and
- comply with law and enforce these terms.
This licence lasts while the content is stored or an order is being fulfilled. It ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backups, records the law requires us to keep, copies already shared or downloaded by other people, and physical books already produced. Disabling a public page stops Recipy from intentionally serving it in the future, but it cannot recall a physical book or copies another person already made.
You promise that you own the content or have the rights and authority needed for Recipy to use it in these ways. This includes another person's voice, performance, photograph, story, name, and private information. If that authority changes, contact us.
6. Private and public content
Content is private unless an owner deliberately enables a public Recipy or book page. Public sharing can let anyone with the link view, copy, download, or reshare the content. Search engines or third parties may preserve a copy even if you later disable the Recipy page.
Audio visibility is a separate owner choice. A printed QR code may continue to circulate, but Recipy does not promise that any hosted page, QR destination, or audio file will remain available forever. The physical book and your downloaded archive should not depend on permanent hosting.
Our Content and Safety Policy explains prohibited material, reporting, and review. We may restrict or remove content, prevent printing, or suspend an account when reasonably necessary for law, safety, rights protection, or a serious breach of these terms. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the decision and provide a way to request review.
7. The initial future-book purchase
The initial purchase is for a specific future personalised hardcover book project and its included base copy. The application is the workspace used to complete it.
The launch options are:
- EUR 39 including tax for a book with up to 30 Recipys; or
- EUR 49 including tax for a book with up to 60 Recipys.
One base hardcover copy is included. Delivery is quoted and charged separately. The checkout summary controls the exact price, Recipy limit, format, included items, tax treatment, and any discount for your order.
The initial payment is not a deposit, wallet, credit, token, or subscription. We do not charge you again for the included base copy. At final approval, you pay only the amounts shown for delivery, optional upgrades, additional copies, and any tax or duty Recipy must legally collect at that stage.
We ask you to complete and approve the book within 6 months of the initial purchase. We will send reasonable reminders and then give a final 30-day grace period. If the book is still unfinished, we may archive the project to keep inactive storage and support manageable. Archiving does not cancel the included-copy entitlement, take ownership of your content, or trigger an automatic refund. You can ask us to reactivate the project. If the original format or supplier is no longer available, we will offer a reasonably equivalent format or the remedy required by law.
An expansion increases the maximum number of Recipys for that specific editable book. The expansion summary will state its price, new limit, effect on completion timing, and whether it includes anything else. An expansion does not include another physical copy unless the checkout expressly says it does.
8. Prices, payment, and contract formation
Prices are shown in euro and include all tax Recipy is required to collect from you. Delivery is shown separately. Before payment, you will see the legal seller, what you are buying, the total amount, delivery information, cancellation terms, and an unambiguous button showing that payment is required.
Stripe processes payment. Stripe may process payment information as a service provider and for its own fraud, security, and legal duties. Recipy does not receive your full card number or security code.
Your paid contract is formed when the payment succeeds and Recipy confirms the order. If the payment is failed, cancelled, duplicated, or uncertain, we will reconcile it before creating a paid entitlement or submitting anything to print. We will not knowingly submit duplicate print jobs.
The order confirmation will be sent to the email attached to the order. Keep it for your records. It identifies the accepted terms and provides cancellation information where relevant.
9. Completing and approving the book
You control the content of your book. Before final payment, Recipy provides a proof for review. You must check the whole proof, including:
- names, title, dedication, and personal stories;
- ingredients, quantities, allergens, timings, temperatures, and steps;
- photos, cropping, image quality, and captions;
- Recipy order, sections, page count, blank pages, and layout; and
- the selected delivery address and order quantity.
Your approval is tied to the exact proof version. Any content change makes that approval stale. Approval remains provisional until the related final payment succeeds.
When final payment succeeds, that exact approved edition becomes permanent and cannot be edited. A later edit requires an editable duplicate and a new print order. An exact reprint uses the same immutable approved edition.
If a book is printed exactly as you approved, a later change of mind or a mistake that was visible in the proof is not a manufacturing defect. We may offer a goodwill or paid reprint, but this does not limit a remedy where Recipy or its provider changed the content after approval or the book otherwise fails to conform to the contract.
10. Personalised production, cancellation, and remedies
The initial future-book purchase and a final personalised print order do not necessarily have the same cancellation treatment.
Our Cancellation and Refund Policy gives the launch promise and the model cancellation form. In summary:
- the launch policy gives a full contractual refund for the initial book purchase if you cancel within 14 days of that purchase;
- Recipy may begin the digital workspace and AI processing during that period only on the basis explained at purchase;
- for an exact personalised book or reprint, change-of-mind cancellation may cease once production has begun; and
- rights for defects, damage, non-delivery, or other lack of conformity always remain.
No voluntary support deadline or supplier policy removes your mandatory consumer rights.
11. Printing and delivery
Lulu is Recipy's current print and fulfillment provider. AB & GL Nexus Global Partners Limited remains your seller and customer contact.
Production and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. We will use reasonable care to meet the period agreed at checkout and will contact you about a material delay or action needed. Risk in the physical book remains with Recipy until you or a person you nominate receives it, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
The Delivery and Fulfillment Policy explains launch territory, live quotes, address errors, rejected files, delayed production, lost parcels, and damaged books.
12. Service availability, exports, and shutdown
We use reasonable care to keep Recipy available, secure, and conforming to the contract. Maintenance, provider failures, internet problems, and legal or safety events can interrupt features. We do not promise uninterrupted access or permanent hosting.
Owners can download a family archive of available book and source material. You should keep your own copy of anything you cannot replace.
If Recipy plans to discontinue the service, we will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to export content where practicable. If we still owe you a paid included copy or another unfulfilled purchase, we will fulfill it, arrange a lawful equivalent, transfer the obligation with proper notice where permitted, or provide the refund or remedy required by law.
13. Ending an account
You may stop using Recipy or ask us to close your account. Account closure can affect editable content and public links, but it does not automatically erase transaction records, an active delivery, an immutable printed edition record needed for reprints, or information the law requires us to keep. We will explain the effect before destructive deletion.
We may suspend or end access for a material or repeated breach, fraud, security risk, illegal content, or serious harm. We will act proportionately where possible. Except where notice would create a safety, legal, fraud, or security risk, we will tell you the reason and how to request review. Ending access does not remove accrued consumer rights or let Recipy keep payment for a benefit it is legally required to provide or refund.
14. Recipy intellectual property
AB & GL Nexus Global Partners Limited and its licensors own the Recipy software, brand, interface, original templates, and service materials. These terms let you use the service for its intended personal purpose. They do not let you copy the software, bypass security, resell the service, misuse the Recipy name, or use our protected materials outside your own permitted book and archive.
Your printed book and archive may include Recipy formatting or template elements for your personal use. That does not transfer the underlying template or software rights.
15. Responsibility and limits
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits:
- rights or remedies that Irish or EU consumer law does not allow us to exclude;
- liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Recipy is responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss caused solely by content you supplied and approved, an unsafe use after a clear warning, or an event outside our reasonable control where we took reasonable steps to reduce the impact. We are not responsible for business losses when you use Recipy as a consumer.
The service is not medical, allergy, nutritional, food-safety, legal, tax, or professional publishing advice. This does not reduce our responsibility to provide the digital service and physical goods with the conformity and care required by law.
16. Changes to these terms
The version accepted for a paid order continues to govern that order unless a change is required by law or you expressly agree otherwise. We will not use a later policy change to remove a paid entitlement.
We may update terms prospectively as the service or law changes. For a material change affecting an active account, we will give reasonable notice through email or the service and explain when it takes effect. If consent is legally required, continued use alone will not replace that consent.
17. Complaints, law, and disputes
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint. We will acknowledge it and aim to give a substantive response within a reasonable time.
These terms are governed by Irish law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union, you keep any mandatory protections of your home country and any right under applicable law to bring proceedings in a court available to you. Nothing here requires a consumer to use only the Irish courts.
The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform closed in July 2025. Current information about consumer redress is available from the European Commission. Recipy does not claim to participate in a particular alternative dispute resolution body unless we tell you so in writing.
